ATTENTION: Problems with receiving laboratory results

​

Since November 28, a new departmental laboratory results management system has been deployed. This system means that we no longer systematically receive laboratory results. We are very concerned about missing important results for our patients. We are taking different measures to address this problem, but we need you.

​

We invite you to activate your patient portal as soon as possible. We will send you all your results via this portal.If you have not received your results 2 weeks after collection, please contact us by email so that we can retrieve them from the Santé-Québec file.

• Ms. Dorothée Lapalme and Ms. Émily Pui Yan Ha, specialized nurse practitionerss (IPSPL). It could therefore be that your medical appointment is carried out by them. They have all our confidence in offering you quality care.

Doctors absences:

Dr. Élyse Perron is on maternity leave until fall 2024.

Dr. Marie-Claude D’Argy is currently on sick leave. 

We continue to monitor their patients during this time. If you are one of their patients, you can make an appointment via the walk-in and we will direct you to the right professional.

Wearing a mask is no longer compulsory in the clinic.  On the other hand, if you have cold and flu symptoms, we ask that you continue to wear it for everyone's protection.

For those who would like to continue to consult her, know that she will remain your family doctor and that your electronic medical file will be transferred to the new clinic. This choice was the subject of considerable reflection on the part of Dr. Robitaille and is motivated by her desire to continue her practice towards other professional opportunities that better correspond to her aspirations and her development. Here are some useful resources to consult if necessary:

For some infectious symptoms, before making an appointment:

• Your community pharmacist: for strep tests, relief of cough and nasal congestion, vaginal and urinary symptoms, advice, etc...

For the pediatric clientele, in case of emergency:

• UP pediatric clinic for children: complete technical platform, to be preferred before the hospital emergency

 

​If you or a loved one has suicidal thoughts, dial1-800-I call (1-800-456-4566). They will be able to assess you and do the necessary follow-up.

 

For some dental problems, the dentist always remains the preferred specialist.
 

For problems with the vision or eyes, optometrists will be able to do a complete assessment, and quickly refer you to an ophthalmologist if necessary.
 

For some muscle aches, physiotherapy remains the basic treatment. Your doctor will be happy to provide you with a referral, even before you have an appointment. You simply have to leave us a message.
